The Army Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) has announced the awardees for the long-awaited follow-on contract, Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems (GTACS) II. As a Prime awardee, Trace Systems will deliver a wide array of systems and services to meet the Army鈥檚 tactical and strategic communications requirements.
GTACS II was awarded to 22 companies, including 8 Small Businesses, to help the Army deliver a single, cohesive and interoperable tactical network to Soldiers on the battlefield that enables successful mission activity. The IDIQ has a five-year base period of performance with an additional five-year option period and covers three functional areas: development, production & deployment, and sustainment through disposal. Building on its success from GTACS I, where they led all prime contractors in total number of task order awards, Trace is positioned and eager to continue their legacy into the GTACS II contract.
